Information we use

The public site records limited first-party page-view measurement so MX1 can understand visits and page views. It uses a random identifier for the current browser session and stores a server-side hash, page path and time. It does not store your name, email address, IP address or a cross-site identifier through this measurement.

If you use the request flow, a temporary draft stays in the current browser tab while you complete it. When you choose to open the prepared email, MX1 records the enquiry details, contact details, preferred date and location in its secure enquiry system and sends the active owner account a notification email. Opening that email does not make a booking or take payment.

Why we use it

MX1 uses request information to respond to an enquiry, discuss the requested shoot and keep a record of the conversation. Page-view measurement is used to understand and improve the website. The website does not use advertising trackers, visitor accounts or automated decisions about you.

Retention

Enquiry details are kept for up to 12 months after the last contact, unless you ask for deletion or the enquiry becomes a confirmed client relationship, in which case the information may be kept for the client relationship and applicable record-keeping needs.

Storage and sharing

MX1 uses protected website, storage and email service providers to operate the website, portfolio studio and enquiry notifications. Your email message is also handled by your email provider and the recipient's provider under their own privacy practices. Portfolio media is stored in protected MX1 storage and is public only after an authorised owner publishes it.

Your choices

You can browse without using the request tool and close the browser tab to remove its temporary draft. You may ask MX1 to access, correct or delete information connected with a submitted enquiry by emailing the address above. We will first need enough information to identify the relevant enquiry.

Changes

This notice will be updated if MX1 changes how the website collects or uses personal information.
